Recently we announced here that we would be making some major changes to the FMIN website as we push to become the central resource for the Australian music and events industry.
So what's changed?
Event Section - Find the latest FMIN events as well as electronic music events happening in your state.
Industry Portal - (Work in progress) The portal will consist of 3 main sections:
Artists - Find record labels, audio, visual and performance artists
Resources - Find relevant businesses for tools to help you achieve your goals
Knowledge - Find valuable educational resources to hone your craft and manage your career
We are continuing to upgrade these new sections so you may come across buttons that don't work. This is intentional as we'd like you to see what we have in mind and provide feedback before we get too far with new features that you may not need or want. We will officially launch FMIN 2.0 and share our future plans at our next meetup on the 21st of Oct. Info
This will be before the Progression Sessions - Zenon Rec Bush Food 2.0 compilation launch. Info
We are currently seeking journalists or bloggers who are passionate about music, art, performance or fashion that are interested in contributing content and discovering talent. At this stage we can’t pay for contributions but hope to change that in the near future as we grow.
If you have an event coming up? Let us know about it by filling out the form on our event page and we can add your event to our calendar.
If you provide a product or service to the music or events industry then contact us via the general enquiry contact form here and tell us about what you do.
Finally, on behalf of the whole FMIN team, we'd like to say a big 'thank you' to the many people on the various facebook groups contributing to discussion on the continuous improvement of our website.
